The good news amongst all this gloom is that we have found a place for the family to have some much needed fun activity. The great news is that it’s FREE to foster families as it’s sponsored by the OFCA.
It’s Far Peak Climbing based in Northleach just across the county border in Gloucestershire. They are offering us “Family Climbing Sessions” for 2 adults and 4 children under 18. It’s a four hour session with one hour climbing the ropes and the rest on the low ropes or in the woodland. If you prefer you could choose four hours on the ropes and in the woodlands without the climbing.
Carers don’t have to brave the walls but they must be around to help supervise their children.
The sessions are between 1st Oct 2020 and March 2021. These are the open times:
Term Time: Monday – Friday, 12 – 10 pm, Saturday & Sunday 9.15am – 6pm
School Holidays: Monday – Friday, 9.15am – 10pm Saturday & Sunday 9.15am – 6pm
We need an idea how many are interested in going so we can gauge the number of sessions to buy on your behalf – the more the merrier! So if you’d like your family or just one or two children to enjoy this fun activity, then please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
